A clickable world map allows the user to select among the world’s major oceans/seas and observe how different environmental conditions affect sound propagation and distribution of acoustic intensity.
The user can alter the depth of the sound source and/or modify the sound-speed profile and observe how the acoustic rays and acoustic field intensity are affected.
Numerical calculations are performed in real-time using optimized propagation codes.
